CHRISTY COLLIER, COLLIER & CO REAL ESTATE
“Being part of the Chamber has meant a whole networking system for me. I have made many friends that I have been able to get to know in a better way and meet outside of chamber activities. When I need to refer business, I think of my chamber friends first. In turn, I have received business from them as well. Together, we have worked for events that better our community and while working together, we have fun. You always get out of something what you put into it, and I have definitely gotten much out of my relationship with the Chamber through the investment that I have made.”
DOUG LAWSON, FIELD & MAIN BANK
Field & Main Bank has long supported the business community in Henderson County and the surrounding region. We have always been a participant with the local Chamber of Commerce because we recognize the value of collective business knowledge and what it means to have someone advocating on behalf of all businesses in our region. Doug Lawson, President, and COO of Field & Main Bank serves as the Treasurer of the Henderson KY Chamber of Commerce. Here is what Doug has to say: “I believe that as a community banker I have the privilege of serving our community every day. I am able to extend that service in a capacity that helps every business and assist with the growth and development for future generations. I believe in the work of the Chamber of Commerce and the vision we have for the future of Henderson County.”
Doug has also been an active participant in the Henderson Small Biz Help Call – “Chamber Chat” – that is taking place every evening at 6pm. This small group of concerned business citizens in Henderson County have had the ability to help organize a movement of information sharing and best practices that have set the stage for all business during the COVID-19 crisis. Doug comments, “We have seen some major changes in our business climate over the last several weeks. The work of the Chamber and a few other business leaders in town have really helped shape the planning and forward-thinking for this community.”
