Clay Gillham Selected as Henderson Chamber’s Next President

The Henderson Kentucky Chamber of Commerce is happy to announce the selection of Clay Gillham as its new President. This decision comes following a three-month search involving the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives and a hiring committee from the Chamber’s Board of Directors. Gillham, currently the Downtown Events & Communications Coordinator for the Chamber, will assume her new role beginning Monday, April 29th. She replaces outgoing President, Lindsay Locasto, and interim President, Donna Warren.

Clay has served in her current role for just over two years, following the merger of the Chamber and the Downtown Henderson Partnership. She has worked to promote Downtown businesses and help organize community events including the Independence Day Fireworks Celebration, Porchfest, and Market on Main. She also contributed to beautification efforts for the Downtown and helped to coordinate collaborative projects like the launching of the Sunset District and the Downtown Dog Park, set to open later this spring. Henderson Chairperson Eric Gardner says, “We couldn’t be more excited to see Clay named as the Chamber President and look forward to many years ahead with her leadership in advancing the business community in Henderson“

A Henderson native and graduate of the University of Kentucky, Gillham, 34, lives in Henderson with her husband, Jesse, 4-month-old daughter, Jett, and their beloved dog, Tuck. “I’m honored to be entrusted with this role, and thrilled to start this next chapter with the Chamber,” Clay says of the selection. “We have such a great team, and lots of momentum to build on. I’m grateful to the Board for this opportunity, and excited to continue serving our members and working with our excellent community partners.”
