The nominee for the Agriculturalist of the Year should be an individual who has made a significant impact in the agriculture community in Henderson County over the last year.
The nominee for the Agriculturalist of the Year could be an individual who is one of the following:
A Henderson County resident farmer who is actively engaged in management and day-to-day operations.
Currently employed through a Henderson ag-related retail facility, such as in seed, chemicals, fertilizer, equipment or parts.
Currently employed as an ag lender with a Henderson lending institution.
The recipient of the award will be selected and recognized during the Agriculture Appreciation Breakfast.
