Local chambers from across the state were recognized at the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives (KCCE) 2021 Annual Dinner on September 30.
KCCE Annual Excellence Awards pay tribute to local chambers of commerce in areas of operational excellence that include membership growth and retention, website, social media, special publication and newsletter communications, special events, innovation and advocacy.
Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives (KCCE) is the organization that provides professional development and continuing education opportunities for local chambers of commerce, their staff, and volunteers. KCCE strives to provide assistance, resources, and grassroots advocacy to all chambers across the state.
The Henderson Chamber of Commerce was recognized in the “Outstanding Event” category for the Western Kentucky Opioid Summit that was held in February 2020.
The Summit was held in Madisonville and was a collaborative effort of educators, health care professionals and counselors. The event was planned to help provide community solutions to the Substance Use Disorder that is prevalent in many communities across the nation. Debra Jay, a renowned public speaker and author of multiple works pertaining to SUD spoke to over 300 people.
